This project proposes using the story of The Great Flood, found in almost all cultures worldwide as the catalyst for a collaborative outdoor performance.
Exeter Cathedral are enthusiastic supporters of the idea, donating the Cathedral green as a performance venue. Common Players have close associations with a number of amateur theatre groups in the region, and we plan to run writing workshops with six groups such as Red Spider Theatre in Lewdown and Bradninch Players, to create episodes to be rehearsed by the groups and then brought to the city for performance.
