The
great success of 2001's collaboration with the National Trust
led to two more weeks of performing August 2002 at Castle
Drogo, Dartmoor.
The hour long performances led audiences on a gentle walk
around the unique grounds of this commanding property. Music,
action, eccentric characters and plenty of opportunities
for participation encouraged people to enjoy a new way of
experiencing and appreciating this beautiful site.
It's very suitable for families, although keeping off the main paths
does mean that buggies and prams are difficult in some parts of the
terrain.
Performances were at 12 midday and 2.30pm on Wed 14th, Thurs
15th, Friday 16th, and then from Monday 19th to Friday 23rd
inclusive.
Having paid for admission onto the site (Adult £2.90,
Child £1.40), the performances were then free.
