Mrs Macbeth's Hostile Bid
Three witches
A HIGHLY SPRUNG TALE OF VAULTING AMBITION

After a great annual review at work, Beth Macbeth sees the future glowing bright. The company have said she's leadership material. Back home, the witches foretell of imminent promotion to dizzy heights.

By the next lunchtime her boss is found dead, in a freak coldstore accident. Encouraged on by her ambitious partner, and mesmerised by the prospect of power, what's next? Murder by mozzarella? Is nothing sacred in Beth's fight to the top? Can Duffy, the mild-mannered bakery assistant galvanise the community to wield their baguettes, defeat the tyrant and restore order to the supermarket shelves? Fast and furious performances, a bouncy castle, original music and wild humour combine in this tale of dark desire and cream-topped ambition.

The Common Players has a fantastic reputation for creating outdoor performances which engage and amaze. For 13 years, people of all ages have brought their picnics along, enjoyed a car-b-que and candy floss and enjoyed an evening of lively entertainment. Mrs. Macbeth's Hostile Bid will feature familiar faces from previous shows and is directed by Anthony Richards.
